We keep delivery simple. Every print is carefully packaged before it leaves us, and we only deliver within an area we know we can do well.

Full shipping policy
1. Delivery area
We currently deliver within the greater Cape Town area only. We do not ship nationally or internationally at this time. If you are outside our delivery area, studio collection in Hout Bay is available by appointment. Delivery is R100 within 30 km of our Hout Bay studio, and R180 for outer areas of greater Cape Town — calculated automatically at checkout based on your address. Delivery is free on orders over R999 (R1,499 for outer areas).

2. Turnaround time
Your print is ready within 48 hours of us receiving and approving your file. The 48-hour window begins once your file has been submitted and reviewed — not at the time of placing your order.
We will always notify you of any delays. During busy periods, turnaround may be slightly longer — we will let you know in advance.
Remember to email your photo to info@bayprints.co.za with your order number after checkout — we cannot begin production until we have your file.
3. Packaging
Every print is packaged with care before it leaves our studio. Smaller prints are flat-packed between protective tissue and rigid board. Larger prints are rolled in a sturdy tube. Deckled edge prints are always flat-packed — never rolled — to protect the paper edges.
We let every print rest for a few hours after printing before packaging, to ensure ink stability and long-term colour accuracy.
4. Studio collection — Hout Bay
You are welcome to collect your print from our Hout Bay studio by appointment. Collection is free of charge. This is also a chance to see our papers in person and meet the printer.
To arrange a collection, contact us after placing your order and we will confirm a time.
5. Damaged in transit
If your print arrives damaged — creased, torn, wet, or otherwise compromised during delivery — we will reprint and redeliver at no charge.
Please photograph the damaged packaging and print and email info@bayprints.co.za within 48 hours of delivery.
