Bay Prints started because I wanted a print lab I could trust with my own work — one with a fast turnaround, close to where I live. So I built one. In my studio, in Hout Bay, using the same printer and papers I use for my own fine art.

Every order comes through me personally. Whether it's your wedding photo, a family portrait, or a fine art series — it gets the same care.

I'm a professional photographer. I know what a good print should look like. And I won't send you one I'm not proud of.

Why Bay Prints exists

A print lab built for the work, not the volume

Most print labs are built for speed and scale. They're designed to process hundreds of orders a day, which means your photo is one file among thousands. Nobody looks at it. Nobody thinks about it. It just gets printed.

Bay Prints is the opposite. Every file that comes through is reviewed by a photographer who has spent years thinking about light, colour, and what makes an image work. If something isn't right — the resolution, the crop, the colour space — I'll tell you before printing, not after.

That's not a feature. That's just how it should be done.
